The Red Floor Pad is often the most popular choice for the general maintenance of polished floors. Whilst excellent for restoring the finish of floor polish via either spray burnishing or dry buffing, the red pad is also ever so slightly abrasive which allows the efficient removal of surface dirt and heel marks on the flooring without damaging the polish. Although the red pad may not produce the level of finish expected with a ultra high speed machine fitted with a white floor pad, it is often used as a more versatile option. Provides the best results when used with a floor maintenance chemical fitted on a high speed machine (200-500 rpm).
Different floor pads have specific purposes and are coloured to denote both abrasiveness and intended usage. If using specifically for polishing operations or cleaning polished floors there are pads for stripping, scrubbing and burnishing. Please note the product description for your required product. There is some cross-over in certain instances from one pad to the next but as a reference abrasiveness of floor pads run in this sequence from most to the least: Black, Green, Blue, Red, White.
